Orientation Workshop on Module on Food/Nutrition Security and Public Policy

The Module on Food/Nutrition Security and Public Policy is being introduced as a multi-disciplinary course in 5 Universities in Karnataka

An Orientation Workshop for faculty was held on 22nd July, 2017. Faculty from the universities which have introduced the Module participated.

Akkamahadevi Women’s University, Vijayapura - Prof. S.B. Madagi, Prof. S.A. Kazi and Mr. K. Lenin Babu

Azim Premji University, Bangalore - Dr. Shreelata Rao and Ms. Sunayana Ganguly

Mount Carmel College, Bangalore - Dr. Shantha Maria and Ms. Mary Regi

School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya, Mangalore - Ms. Veena B.K, Ms. Anusuya Shenoy and Ms. Raksha

University of Mysore - Dr. Y.S. Siddegowda and Dr. R. Shivappa

Mount Carmel College, Bangalore has already started teaching the Module as a multi-disciplinary course, from July 2017, and it has been received enthusiastically by students.

Akkamahadevi University, Vijayapur will introduce the course in January, 2018

Azim Premji University, Bangalore will introduce the course in January, 2018

University of Mysore will introduce the course in January 2018

School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya, Mangalore will introduce the course in January, 2018
